Lagerstroemia 'Cherry Mocha' PP28281 is commonly referred to as Cherry Mocha Crepe Myrtle. It is part of the Barista® dwarf collection and features a fast-growing, dense, compact habit with woody, burgundy-colored stems that bear semi-glossy burgundy red foliage. From July to September gorgeous clusters of dark pink flowers open from shiny red buds attracting hummingbirds and butterflies. Green seed pods follow the flowers.
Cherry Mocha™ Crepe Myrtle is mildew resistant and thrives in full sun in rich, fertile, evenly moist, well-drained soil. It can be drought tolerant once established.
